Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) is seeking to add a Rheumatologist to the community to assume an immediate practice.  This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a cohesive medical community and a hospital culture which embraces patient centered care.  This is supported by the VISION, which is visible across both medical campuses – “Creating a Total Healing Environment”.  The hospitals are governed by one administrative and medical executive board so that all decisions are based upon what is best for patient care.

Prescott, Arizona is a rapidly growing destination city.  This is supported by the medical community growth.   YRMC West is a 135 bed, acute-care facility which has long been recognized as one of the best in the region and is ranked second in the state for “Best Patient Satisfaction” (Mayo Clinic ranked first).   The addition of YRMC East Campus in Prescott Valley, currently with 84 beds, licensed for 250 beds and a 27 acre medical campus for future growth in both in-patient and out-patient  care.

Patients requiring complex rheumatologic care are currently seen in Prescott by a Mayo Clinic rheumatologist.  YRMC has contracted with Mayo Clinic to provide interim rheumatology support, until the position is filled.

Prescott and Prescott Valley combined have more than 65,000 year round residents, with a strong mix of those born and raised in Prescott, and many young families which moved from across the country  to capture focus on family values, abundance of  natural recreational resources and easy access to all metropolitan amenities.    Courthouse square serves as a weekly gathering spot for live music, arts and craft fair and other festivals during the summer.

Easy access to Phoenix (60 miles), Sedona, Grand Canyon, Skiing (Arizona and Flagstaff), and Water sports (multiple lakes) and beaches (California 6 hours, Mexico 5 hours).
