<p>In 2007, SHC  created a Neuro-Hospitalist program and has recently approved the development of an EMU.  There is a high demand for EMU services which are currently not being met in the valley.  This will be a hospital employed position with the necessary resources to establish a vibriant  Epileptology program.  The program will model traditional in-patient out-patient practice. All patients are admitted to the hospitalist with Neuro as a consultant.  In addition to the Epilepsy practice, you will be able to keep your skills in general neurology by providing six to eight weeks of service on the Neuro-Hospitalist program.  This program has a very managable patient base with excellent hospitalist and sub-specialty support.</p>
