THE PRACTICE:

Patients will benefit from not having to travel for neurological services.As a healthcare system committed to providing the highest level of patient care, this system has contracted with Mayo Clinic to provide TeleStroke consultation for local patients. In addition community physicians receive access to broadcasts of Mayo Clinic´s weekly Internal Medicine Grand Rounds.
Competitive salary guarantee, relocation expenses and start-up expenses will be offered to all. 89-Bed Hospital is financially sound and willing to invest in necessary technology to advance specialty services. NEURO-HOSPITALIST POSITION/EPILEPTOLOGIST

In 2007, SHC created a Neuro-Hospitalist program and has recently approved the development of an EMU. There is a high demand for EMU services which are currently not being met in the valley. This will be a hospital employed position with the necessary resources to establish a vibriant Epileptology program. The program will model traditional in-patient out-patient practice. All patients are admitted to the hospitalist with Neuro as a consultant. In addition to the Epilepsy practice, you will be able to keep your skills in general neurology by providing six to eight weeks of service on the Neuro-Hospitalist program. This program has a very managable patient base with excellent hospitalist and sub-specialty support.

- $30 million ED/Trauma expansion to include a Trauma Receiving area, 43 bed ICU tower, and rooftop helipad for 3 helicopters.
- An Emergency Department with 65,000 visits and 3600 Trauma Activations annually
