Scottsdale Healthcare (SHC) is seeking a Board Certified General Surgeon, Fellowship trained in Trauma/Surgical Critical Care to join an expanding Trauma Service.

• $30 million ED/Trauma expansion to include a  Trauma Receiving area, 43 bed ICU tower, and rooftop helipad for 3 helicopters.
• An Emergency Department with 65,000 visits and 3600 Trauma Activations annually
• Excellent sub-specialty support including Orthopedic Traumatology fellowship trained surgeons and dedicated Neurosurgeons from the Barrows Neurological Institute

Interest in establishing a general surgery practice, teaching medical students and residents and active involvement in research and scholarly activity with documented publications/presentations is also required.
